AutoSens publishes CSEM Christophe Pache presentation on flash LiDARs with a Q&A session starting at 20:20 time:

  1. Since I could not spot any reference, I'd like to point out that the 64x64 SPAD-based image sensors are made by FBK. The details are in this publication:
    M. Perenzoni, D. Perenzoni and D. Stoppa, "A 64x64-Pixels Digital Silicon Photomultiplier Direct TOF Sensor With 100-MPhotons/s/pixel Background Rejection and Imaging/Altimeter Mode With 0.14% Precision Up To 6 km for Spacecraft Navigation and Landing," in IEEE Journal of Solid-State Circuits, vol. 52, no. 1, pp. 151-160, Jan. 2017.

  2. It’s overall a very good presentation but I’s still like to point out that one key information provided in Q&A section that long wavelength allows ‘millions times’ more power for eye safety is very misleading and somewhat irresponsible.
