Toshiba Aims for 30% Sensor Market Share in Two Years

Toshiba published its President and CEO, Norio Sasaki presentation on strategies for transforming Toshiba into a global leader. Image sensors are defined as one of the focus points for the company (slide 14). Another slide shows ambitious plans of winning 30% share on global image sensor market, or, may be just BSI part of it, the wording is ambiguous:

Toshiba also made a video of the presentation available on-line up to Nov. 2011.

  2. I guess this is a new definition of the inch
1 new inch is equal to 1.5 of old inch!

Wow, I missed this one (the last line in the slide). But wait, this is not image sensor-related stuff.
